Vegan Garlic Knots

Make these delicious Vegan Garlic Knots using vegan homemade pizza dough or vegan refrigerated pizza dough. This recipe will remind you of the classic garlic knots you eat at your favorite Italian restaurant. This version is 100% vegan and just as delicious!

Ingredients

  • 1 homemade vegan pizza dough
  • 1/4 cup olive oil
  • 2 cloves garlic finely diced or grated (grated is best!)
  • 2 tbsp vegan parmesan
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1 tsp oregano
  • 1/4 tsp red pepper flakes
  • 1/4 tsp fresh ground pepper

Instructions

  • Preheat the oven to 425 degrees.
  • Prepare a baking sheet by placing a piece of parchment paper on top or spray with some non-stick spray.
  • Divide your homemade vegan pizza dough into 24 balls.

  • Roll those balls into logs then gently tie them into a knot.
  • Place your knots onto your parchment-lined baking sheet. Allow the garlic knot dough to sit for 30 minutes.
  • Bake at 425 degrees F for 8-10 minutes or until the edges become slightly golden brown.
  • While your garlic knots are baking, in a bowl combine the olive oil, garlic, vegan parmesan, salt, oregano, red pepper flakes, and ground pepper. Stir to fully comine the ingredients.

  • Once the garlic knots are done baking, brush on the prepared garic oil. Serve with some marinara sauce for dipping! Makes 24 knots.
